Law Practice
Mr. Marian Plesoiu has extensive expeience in all aspects of Romanian commercial law.
He started his legal career as legal adviser at State Ownership Fund.
His practice encompasses corporate and commercial law, penal law, privatization and post-privatization matters,
trade register procedures, regulatory issues and real estate, litigations and debts recovering.
Experience:
- State Ownership Fund, Bucharest:
negotiate the privatization contracts; represent the institution in court;
legal advise on the proposal notes to the Administration Board; checking and legal advise of the privatization files;
reports to the Board for procedures improvements and legal solutions; legal consultancy for privatization and post-privatization departments.
Achievements: negotiate over 1000 privatization contracts.
- Faper Mill (Italy):
legal consultancy for Comceh Calarasi(cellulose and paper industry) and Faper Mill (majority shareholder);
legal due-diligence of the post-privatization process (fulfilling the commitments from the privatization contract);
supervision the daily operations and report to the main shareholder;
represent the main shareholder in the general assembly.
Achievements: complete fulfillment of the obligations assumed by the buyer in the privatization contract;
successfully negotiation of the collective labor contract with the syndicate.
- Tuborg Romania:
representing the company in court; negotiate the contracts with the suppliers and clients;
consultancy for the top management and company's departments; keeping and organize the juridical archive;
monitoring the modification in the legislation which are applicable for the company's activity, reporting of its and implement the necessary modifications;
monitoring the company's department to respect the applicable law and report any non-observance.
- Casa de Vinuri Pietroasa, Bucuresti: coordinate the company's departments (selling, financial, human resources, marketing).
